State of craft of Freemasonry for the Stated meeting of Queen Anne Lodge

The following are personal notes on the Stated Communication from the Worshipful Master and Senior Warden of Queen Anne Lodge.

From our Worshipful Master

Greetings from the East,

We are having our monthly meeting and our official visit from our District Deputy Today, the 14th of March. I would love to see as many Masons attend and share in the fellowship. We will be discussing topics for our newly planned discussion / education nights as well as hopefully reading some new petition. We also will be talking about the first degree that we will be having for two wonderful candidates the following night. I encourage everyone to attend dinner as we are dining on leek soup with smoked salmon prepared by our Sec. WB Vogt.  For the non Masons who our interested in our lodge and the craft this dinner is a great opportunity to meet many of the brothers.

Hope to see you all there.

Fraternally,

Andy Goeres, Worshipful Master, Queen Anne Masonic Lodge No. 242

From our Senior Warden:

Greetings form the West,

We are in the middle of a very exciting time in Masonry and in our Lodge. We have seen steady growth in Freemasonry, and in lour Lodge in particular for several years now, and are trying to harness that energy for sustainable growth. I am very optimistic about the future of Freemasonry. This evening we will be discussing Brother Christ Rager’s, and my trip to the Warden’s Conference, and the connections we made and the ideas we have brought back. I will also be presenting the new and improved website, which has been reaching people all over the world about Freemasonry, as well as our new communications systems. Our goals are to be able to fill our sails with the great wind of interest in Freemasonry, and harness it for the edification of the brotherhood and the members that make up its parts.

Daniel Done, Senior Warden, Queen Anne Masonic Lodge No. 242

Freemasonry’s heavier duties:

P.S. Brothers, please note that we will be also opening on a Lodge of sorry. It is part of the work of Freemasonry to honor our brothers who have passed to join the Supreme Architect of the Universe. This week our brother Frank Myers, completed his work on this earth and passed on. We will be honoring his memory today.
